Quinn Wright is passionate about helping people.

The son of blue-collar union workers, Quinn learned the value of hard work, a love for community, and a commitment to serving others at an early age. After graduating from Ferndale High School, he continued his studies at Michigan State University, where he held several community-based leadership roles, including Student Body President and Student Assembly Chairman of the Associated Students of MSU.

Since earning his degree from MSU, Quinn has remained committed to strengthening the community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH), as Parent Liaison for the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC), and as President of The Detroit Spartan, a local MSU alumni organization. Locally, Quinn has served on Madison Heights City Council for the past four years. During his time on Council, he has been a strong advocate for our police and fire departments, championing the resources and support they need to serve effectively and safely.

Quinn’s volunteer work in Madison Heights includes active involvement with various community organizations and his church, Central Church of Madison Heights. In 2020, he was appointed by City Council to the Human Relations and Equity Commission (HREC), where he was unanimously elected Chairperson by his fellow commissioners, reflecting his extensive leadership experience and dedication to equity and inclusion.

Professionally, Quinn’s commitment to helping others continues through his work as a financial advisor. Since 2017, he has partnered with Thomas Financial Consultants, working with families to develop long-term financial strategies. With 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Quinn helps families build secure futures so they can focus on what matters most. This financial expertise has also proven valuable in reviewing the city’s budget—balancing fiscal responsibility with thoughtful investment in our infrastructure.

A nearly 20-year resident of Madison Heights, Quinn and his wife are the proud parents of three intelligent, independent, and adventurous young women. Of all his roles, none are more meaningful than being a loving and devoted father.

Quinn’s service on City Council has made a lasting impact on Madison Heights and the broader community. He has championed mental health initiatives, frequently asking how we can normalize self-care and support personal well-being at the local level. He has been a consistent advocate for small businesses, supporting ordinances that reduce barriers and create new opportunities. His votes have backed transformative capital improvement projects, including the renovated library, Fire Station 2, and the new Active Adult Center.

While the progress has been significant, there’s still more work to be done—which is why Quinn is now seeking your support to run for Mayor of Madison Heights. With your help, he hopes to continue fighting for working families, championing inclusive policies, and making Madison Heights a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

With passion, experience, and a heart for service, Quinn Wright will bring his leadership to the Mayor’s office—working with residents and City Council to build a stronger, more connected Madison Heights.
